Tarcisio Catanese was born on September 6, 1967, in Altofonte, and died on March 2, 2017.

He was an Italian professional football midfielder

Later, he became involved in the sport as a manager.

Tarcisio Catanese played in Serie A for many years and amassed 79 appearances in two spells at Parma F.C., where he later became a youth coach.

Then, Tarcisio Catanese worked as head coach of Trapani in the Serie D league, and as a scout in his native Sicily for Juventus.

During July 2011, Tarcisio Catanese was given a position by U.S. Città di Palermo as head of the Allievi Nazionali under-17 team.

Tarcisio Catanese was replaced by Rosario Compagno, his predecessor at the same role, later in July 2012.

Tarcisio Catanese passed away at 49 years old.
