Tara Palmer-Tomkinson, British socialite and television presenter, Died at 45

Tara Claire Palmer-Tomkinson was born on December 23, 1971, in Hampshire and died on February 8, 2017.

She was also known as T P-T.

She was an English socialite, “it girl”, television presenter, model, and charity patron.

Tara’s parents were Charles and Patricia (née Dawson) Palmer-Tomkinson.

Tara’s father represented Great Britain as a skier at the 1964 Winter Olympics.

Palmer-Tomkinson was educated at Sherborne School for Girls in Dorset.

Then, she left school, she worked briefly in the City of London for Rothschilds bank

Her family has a close relationship with the British royal family.

Charles, the Prince of Wales was her godfather, and she attended his wedding to Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall as well as the wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton.

During 2004, Paul Harvey’s painting of Palmer-Tomkinson was exhibited in The Stuckists Punk Victorian show at the Walker Art Gallery for the Liverpool Biennial.

During January 2016, Tara was diagnosed with a prolactinoma.

Palmer-Tomkinson was found dead at her home in London.
