Sylvio Kelly dos Santos was born on July 15, 1935, and died on November 4, 2016.

He was a Brazilian sportsman.

Sylvio dos Santos competed in two Olympics.

Santos represented Brazil in swimming at the 1952 and 1956 Olympics and in water polo at the 1959 Pan American Games.

Santos was brother of Márvio dos Santos, who participated at three Summer Olympics in Water Polo.

In 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki, Sylvio dos Santos swam the 1500-metre and the 4×200-metre freestyle, not reaching the final.

Sylvio dos Santos the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne, he swam the 400-metre freestyle, not reaching the final.

In 1959 Pan American Games in Chicago, Sylvio dos Santos won the bronze medal in the Water Polo.

Sylvio dos Santos broke the Brazilian record in the 1500-metre freestyle, in Helsinki at the 1952 Summer Olympics.

Sylvio dos Santos passed away at 81 years old.
