Syed Shahabuddin, Indian diplomat and politician, Died at 82

Syed Shahabuddin was born on November 4, 1935, and died on March 4, 2017.
He was an Indian politician from the town of Ranchi, in the Indian state of Jharkhand.
Syed started as a diplomat working for the Indian Foreign Service, but later became a politician.
Shahabuddin served three terms from 1979-1996 as a member of the Parliament of India.
Shahabuddin was known for his involvement in the Shah Bano case and his opposition to the Demolition of Babri Masjid.
He died in Noida, India.
Syed Shahabuddin passed away at 82 years old.
