Sydney Cohen was born on September 18, 1921 and died on July 26, 2017.

He was Professor of Chemical Pathology, Guy’s Hospital Medical School and an authority on malaria.

Sydney Cohen was educated at King Edward VIIth School, Johannesburg and at Witwatersrand and London universities.
