Stylianos Pattakos was born on November 8, 1912, and died on October 8, 2016.

He was a Greek military officer.

He was the last surviving among the principals of the Greek military junta of 1967–1974 that overthrew the government of Panagiotis Kanellopoulos in a coup d’état on April 21, 1967.

He was born in the village of Agia Paraskevi in Rethymno Prefecture.

He studied at the Hellenic Military Academy.
