Stu Walker, American sporting announcer, Died at 61

Stu Walker died on November 2, 2015 from cancer.

He was an American sporting announcer.

Stu worked with UNM for 20 years, he started at the University of New Mexico in 1995 with Lobo basketball.

He was the public address announcer during the Dave Bliss era.

Stu Walker also sat behind the mic for football, baseball and soccer, as well as for the Isotopes since their inception in 2003.

He also did games for the New Mexico Activities Association (NMAA), Walker was a former Albuquerque DJ and also worked at Manzano.

Stu Walker passed away at 61 years old due to cancer.
