Stephen Patrick “Steven” Hancock was born on June 25, 1957, and died on June 24, 2016.

He was a British sprint canoer.

Steven competed in the early 1980s.

During the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, Hancock was eliminated in the semifinals of the K-4 1000 m event.

Hancock lived in Toronto with his family.

Steven Hancock was CEO of VidWrx Inc., an Internet video production company.

He was an avid cyclist, Steven was also a member of two clubs.

Hancock died from injuries he sustained when a car struck his bicycle in Mississauga, Ontario, on 7 June.
