Steve Quinn was born in 1951, and died in 2016.

In 1975, he began his career at York before joining Featherstone Rovers, he went on to become Featherstone Rovers’ record goal and point scorer, and finished his career with a total of 3,438 points.

He played and scored four conversions in Featherstone Rovers’ 14-12 victory over Hull in the 1983 Challenge Cup final during the 1982–83 season at Wembley Stadium, London on Saturday, May 7, 1983.

He played centre, i.e. number 4, and scored 3-conversions in Featherstone Rovers’ 12-16 defeat by Leeds in the 1976 Yorkshire Cup final during the 1976–77 season at Headingley Stadium, Leeds on Saturday October 16, 1976, and played centre, i.e. number 4, (replaced by Interchange/Substitute Neil Tuffs) and scored a conversion in the 7-17 defeat by Castleford in the 1977 Yorkshire Cup final during the 1977–78 season at Headingley Stadium, Leeds on Saturday October 15, 1977.
