Vasantha Vaidyanathan was born in 1937 and died on March 14, 2018.

She was an Indian born Sri Lankan Hindu religious activist and a Tamil radio broadcaster.

Vaidyanathan was well known for her services to the Hindu society as a religious preacher.

Vaidyanathan has worked as a radio broadcaster for several Hindu Religious festivals including the Chariot festivals in the Sri Muthumariamman Temple, Matale.

He died on March 14, 2018 at an hospital in Colombo in the early morning due to an illness.

She died at 80 years old.
