Spanish politician, Tomás Rodríguez Bolaños, Died at 74

Tomás Rodríguez Bolaños was born on January 1, 1944 and died on November 2, 2018.

He was a Spanish industrial technician and politician.

Rodríguez joined the Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party in 1975 and was the leader of Valladolid from 1979 to 1995.

His mayoralty covered with his residency as an individual from the Cortes of Castile and León somewhere in the range of 1983 and 1987, and additionally his term as leader of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces from 1985 to 1991.

He was first chosen to the Congress of Deputies in 1993 and served until 2004 when he challenged a seat on the Senate, on which he served one four-year term.

The city of Valladolid after death granted Rodríguez the status of Hijo Predilecto de la ciudad and the Medalla de Oro.

The FEMP regarded him with its Llave de Oro del Municipalismo.

Tomás Rodríguez Bolaños passed away at 74 years old due to heart attack, while visiting San Juan de Gaztelugatxe on November 2, 2018.
