South Korean actor, Shin Seong-il, Died at 81

Shin Seong-il was born on May 8, 1937, and died on November 4, 2018.

He was a South Korean actor, film director, producer, and former politician.

Seong-il is known as a legendary actor, he has more than 500 films in over 40 years.

He made his debut with director Shin Sang-ok’s 1960 film A Romantic Papa and rose to fame through popular youth titles.

Shin Seong-il was the star cast in the 1960s and 1970s, but, his status as one of Korea’s top actors extended well into the 1980s.

He was featured in many of the most important Korean films of all time, is still fondly remembered by filmmakers today.

His last movie was Door to the Night in 2013.

Shin Seong-il passed away at 81 years old after a battle with lung cancer.
