Sossen Krohg (née) Sossen Anker Olsen was born on December 18, 1923, in Kristiania and died on February 12, 2016.

She was a Norwegian playwright and stage and film actress.

She was the daughter of newspaper editor Kristoffer Anker Olsen and Ingeborg Cappelen Hille Finne.

Her husband ski jumper Thorleif Schjelderup from 1943 to 1947, and to painter Guy Krohg (1917–2002) from 1949.

She made her stage debut in 1946 in the play Kranes konditori.

Sossen Krohg was appointed at Det Norske Teatret from 1948 to 1952, and at Folketeatret from 1952 to 1960.

Sossen Krohg made her film debut in Døden er et kjærtegn from 1949.

Sossen Krohg established the stage Scene 7 at Club 7 in Oslo in 1966, and run the place as an avantgarde theatre until 1985.

Krohg wrote several plays for children, which were staged at Scene 7.

Sossen published the memoir book Hekletøy med store hull in 1986.

She played the character “Astrid Anker-Hansen” in the television soap opera Hotel Cæsar, in 1998.

Sossen Krohg passed away at 92 yrs old.
