Sohrab Rahimi was born on December 20, 1962 in Shahrekord, Iran and died on February 11, 2016 in Sweden.

He was an Iranian poet.

He has written Five books in Persian and two books in Swedish.

Sohrab Rahimi has also translated Persian poetry.

His work have been translated into various languages.

Azita Ghahreman was his wife.

Some of his work include The House of Dreams, (Persian)1995, The Spoiled Kernels of Time,(Persian) 1996, White balsam, (Persian and Swedish) 2000 and many more.

He received the 2013 Nikolaj Gogols Prize, Ukraina.

Sohrab Rahimi passed away at 54 yrs old.
