Slobodan Casule was born on September 27, 1945, and died on December 18, 2015.
He was Foreign Minister of the Republic of Macedonia in 2001–2002; Slobodan was appointed November 30, 2001.
Slobodan became well-known for his strong policy on the protection of the state name in the United Nations sponsored negotiations with Greece in the Macedonia naming dispute.
He was the ambassador of Macedonia to Spain.
Slobodan was the son of Macedonian writer Kole Casule.
Slobodan Casule passed away at age 70 in December 2015.
