Sir John Julius Wells was born on March 30, 1925, and died on February 8, 2017.
He was a British Conservative Party politician.
He was educated at Eton College and Corpus Christi College, Oxford (MA).
Wells served in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve during the Second World War, as a seaman in 1942, commissioned in 1943 and in submarines until 1946.
Wells was a marine engineer, company director, and farmer, and was a counselor on Leamington Spa Borough Council.
Sir John Wells married in 1948, Lucinda, eldest daughter of Francis R Meath-Baker, of Hasfield Court, Gloucestershire.
Sir John Wells passed away at 91 years old.
