Simón Feldman was born in January 1922, in Buenos Aires, Argentina and died on October 17, 2015.

He was a director and writer, known for The Big Business (1959).

Simón completed his studies and work in different areas, both in Argentina and in Europe, especially in France.

Studied film at the Institut des Hautes Etudes Cinematographiques (IDHEC), of Paris in 1953.

Feldman filmography includes films, medium-length and short films, some of the documentary genre.

Feldman was co-founder of “Film Seminar Buenos Aires”.

Simón was dedicated to teaching and wrote several books on cinema and painting between which include the generation of 60 and Cinema, art and language.

One of Feldman first films were an independent theater (1954) and The negocion (1959) (not commercially released).

He directed the feature film The table 10 with María Aurelia Bisutti and Emilio Alfaro in 1960, who had critical acclaim.

In 2000, Simon was given the Silver Condor Award to the path by the Film Critics Association of Argentina .

Simón Feldman was married to Mabel Itzcovich.

He left behind, his children.

Simón Feldman passes away at 93 yrs old.
