Shankar Prasad Jaiswal was born on August 9, 1932 and died on January 3, 2016.
He was an Indian Politician.
Jaiswal served as a Member of Parliament for three consecutive terms in the 11th, 12th & 13th Lok Sabhas.
He also represented the Varanasi constituency of Uttar Pradesh and is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party political party.
Shankar Prasad Jaiswal was born in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh in 1932.
He received the highest attained educational qualification, a Matriculation degree.
Shankar was a Social worker before he entered politics.
Shankar also was elected for Lok Sabha for three consecutive terms from Varanasi constituency.
The minister remained in office for a total of eight years only (from 1996 to 2004), even though he was elected for three straight terms,
Towards him becoming MP, Shankar also played the role as a member of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly (1969-1974).
Throughout his political career, he served the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Shankar Prasad Jaiswal passed away at 83 yrs old.
