Sean McEniff, Irish politician and businessman, Died at 81

Sean McEniff was born on January 1936 and died on April 21, 2017.
He was an Irish businessman and Fianna Fáil politician from County Donegal.
Sean McEniff was a member of Donegal County Council, representing the Donegal Electoral Area.
McEniff was first elected to Donegal County Council in 1967 and had been returned every time since with exception of 1979 when he stood in the 1979 European Parliament elections the Connacht–Ulster, though was not elected.
McEniff was Director of Bord Fáilte between 1993 and 1998.
McEniff was also named Donegal Person of the Year in 1996.
His Dublin branch of McEniff’s hotel chain was picketed by protesters.
He died at a Dublin hospital.
Sean McEniff passed away at 81 years old.
