Sam Beazley was born on March 29, 1916 and died on June 12, 2017.
He was a British stage and film actor.
Beazley began acting professionally as a teenager in the 1930s, including appearances with John Gielgud in productions of Hamlet (1934) and Romeo and Juliet (1935).
After the World War II, he owned an antique shop for several decades.
At 75 years old, Sam returned to acting, and since then has appeared in a variety of stage and film productions, as well as becoming a painter in his nineties.
Beazley 2010 article by Nicholas de Jongh in The Independent described “the amazing” Beazley as “the last theatre survivor of his generation”.
Sam Beazley passed away at 101 years old.
