Salman Natour was born in 1949, in Daliyat al-Karmel south of Haifa and died in 2016.

He was a Druze-Palestinian writer and novelist of Israeli citizenship.

Salman Natour graduated from high school in his native town, and then went on to gain his higher education in Jerusalem and later in Haifa.

Salman Natour published numerous books and plays, writing in both Hebrew and Arabic.

Salman Natour passed away at 67 yrs old due to a severe heart attack.
