Sai Prashanth was born on June 7, 1985, and died on March 13, 2016.

He was an Indian actor.

He has appeared in Tamil language films and television serials.

Sai Prashanth has acted in films including Barathi, Aintham Padai, Thegidi, Neram (2013) and Vadacurry (2014).

Prashanth studied in Shrine Vailankanni Senior Secondary School, T.Nagar, Sri Ahobila math Oriental higher secondary school, West Mambalam, and his father was the Chief Executive in Chennai Doordharshan TV channel.

He started his career in entertainment after filling in as a video jockey on Sun Music abruptly after another anchor had fallen ill.

He then applied for a full-time role, after been accepted then moved on to work in television serials.

Whilst he was a serial actor, Sai often played negative roles and collaborated for several ventures with Raadhika Sarathkumar’s productions.

He has also appeared on the reality dance shows Maanada Mayilada and Jodi Number One as a contestant, while he hosted other shows including Dhil Dhil Manadhil.

Prashanth has also acted in films including Mundhinam Paartheney (2010), Neram (2013) and Thegidi (2014) in supporting roles.

Prashanth was also associated with in Vadacurry of 2014, he appeared as the lead antagonist.

Sai Prashanth passed away at 30 yrs old by committed suicide, by consuming poison at his house on March 13, 2016.

Reportedly the police suspect the reason may be due loneliness and depression.
