Ryan Matthew Dunn, American stunt performer, Died at 34

  Actor, Music

Dead, Ryan Matthew Dunn on June 20, 2011, at the age of 34, he was an American stunt performer, television personality, comedian, actor, writer and musician.

Born in Medina, Ohio on June 11, 1977, to Linda Piscitello and Ronald Dunn, from 2002 to his death.

Dunn was in a long-term relationship with Angie Cuturic, his co-star in Margera’s directorial debut Haggard: The Movie and later Minghags.

Dunn had several tattoos of Cuturic, including in his inner arm and left ring finger.

Dunn rose to prominence as a member of the CKY Crew along with long-time friend Bam Margera for their extreme stunts and pranks recorded on camera which led to the rise of MTV’s Jackass and its three later feature films, which have all been commercial successes.

Dunn also hosted Homewrecker and Proving Ground and appeared in feature films such as Street Dreams and Blonde Ambition, as well as in Margera’s films Haggard: The Movie and Minghags: The Movie.

Had several small, strange tattoos, including a plus sign, the Blair Witch Project logo, the BMW logo, the Red Hot Chili Peppers logo, and even a math problem on his ankle, gotten in the last episode of Viva la Bam (2003) season one, the Scavenger Hunt.

Police say the 34-year-old was travelling at around 130mph in a 55mph zone when his Porsche 911 flew off the road at around 2.30am on Monday morning in Pennsylvania, instantly killing him and his passenger, Zachary Hartwell.

Since the accident, some have suggested that Dunn may have been over the limit at the time of the accident.

Film critic Roger Ebert went one step further by tweeting a message blaming Dunn’s fatal car crash on drink-driving.

Dunn who was famous for his vulgar stunts in the multi million-dollar TV and movie franchise Jackass, was driving his 2007 Porsche on a highway when it left the road, flipped over a guardrail and crashed into woods before bursting into flames.

The force of impact shattered the vehicle into several twisted and blackened pieces, leaving the Porsche 911 GT3 unrecognizable except for a door that was thrown from the crash and not incinerated.

A 100-foot-long tyre skid marked where the car left the road.

In August 2012, the parents of Zachary Hartwell filed a civil suit in the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County, naming the co-administrators of Dunn’s estate as defendants, along with Barnaby’s West Chester, the Pennsylvania bar where Dunn drank prior to the fatal crash.

The suit claims negligence and recklessness, as well as wrongful death in the incident that killed 30-year-old Hartwell.

On November 28, 2011, MTV aired an hour-long tribute to Dunn, where several details of his life previously unknown to the public were revealed as well as never-before seen stunts he performed.
