Rolf Sagen was born on December 21, 1940, and died on April 6, 2017.

He was a Norwegian author.

Sagen curator and daily leader of the Bergen Academy of Writing.

Sagen debuted in 1968 with the poetry collection Dørklinker, which won Tarjei Vesaas’ debutantpris.
