Rolf Fjeldvær was born on January 1, 1926, in Fillan and died on April 25, 2017.
He was a former Norwegian politician for the Labour Party.
Rolf Fjeldvær was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Sør-Trøndelag in 1965, and was re-elected on three occasions.
He was a member of the municipality councils in Sandstad 1959–1963 and its successor municipality Hitra 1963–1967.
Fjeldvær also chaired the local party chapter from 1962 to 1966 and from 1990 to 1997.
Other than politics Rolf Fjeldvær worked as a school teacher from 1951 (until 1954 in Vardø).
During 1960 Rolf was promoted to school inspector; from 1964 to 1988 he was the local school director.
Rolf Fjeldvær passed away at 91 years old.
