Roger Boas, American politician, Died at 95

John Roger Boas was born on August 21, 1921, in San Francisco and died on February 10, 2017.
He was a San Francisco businessman and politician, long prominent in the Democratic Party in northern California.
He was the son of Benjamin Boas, a finance company executive of German descent, and Larie Kline Boas.
During 1963, he made history in public television forthe début of a weekly program entitled “World Press.”
That program featured a round table discussion examining national news and abroad, featuring a panel of seventeen experts.
Additionally “World Press,” was the first national network program originating in San Francisco, and was broadcast worldwide on 185 stations.
He died of natural causes in his San Francisco, California home.
Roger Boas passed away at 95 years old.
