Robert Walter Beecher/Robert Beecher was born on November 4, 1924, in California, USA and died on February 12, 2016, in Burbank, California, USA.

He was an American actor.

He was a student at Dorsey High School.

Robert was a weatherman during WWII in the 10th Weather Squadron, 14th Air Force (the “Flying Tigers”) in Kunming, China.

He was later reassigned to organise the mail for all the units in the China-Burma-India theatre.

Following his return to L.A. from the war, he attended the Pasadena Playhouse, then also a school of theatre arts, and graduated in 1949.

Robert Beecher was also one of the founders of the Orchard Gables Repertory Theatre Company at the corner of Fountain and Wilcox in Hollywood.

He opened the Horseshoe Stage Theatre, in January of 1956 on Melrose Avenue in Hollywood where he produced, directed, and starred in plays for many years.

Today, The theatre is known as the Zephyr Theatre.

His wife was Georgia Lee Beecher, he had two sons.

Robert Beecher passed away at 91 yrs old.
