Rick Tuten, American football player, Died at 52

Richard Lamar Tuten was born on January 5, 1965 and died on June 2017.

He was an American football punter in the National Football League

Tuten played most of his career with the Seattle Seahawks.

Rick Tuten punted the ball 108 times in 1992, tied for fourth-most in a season in NFL history.

During 1992, Rick Tuten punted for 4,760 yards with an average of 44.1 yards per punt.

During 1994, the year he went to his first and only Pro Bowl, he punted the ball 91 times for 3,905 yards, an average of 42.9 yards per punt, and also scored a 2-pt. conversion, the only scored points of his career.

He also received a ring as a member of the St. Louis Rams’ Super Bowl XXXIV championship team.

However, Rick Tuten did not play in the game itself due to injury.

Rick Tuten passed away at 52 years old.
