Ricardo Ferrero was born on April 5, 1955, in Rosario, and died November 16, 2015.

He was an Argentine football player and coach.

Ricardo made his professional debute on March 5, 1975, with Rosario Central led by Carlos Timoteo Griguol.

He played for the Rosario club at the national champion in 1980.

Before he arrived in Mexico, Ricardo was scouted by Club America Panchito Hérnandez looked in training Rosario Central.

He consecrated in the 80s, with Club America.

Ricardo debut in Mexican soccer on January 11, 1981 with Cruz Azul, in a match against Deportivo Toluca.

He was signed to Barcelona FC in 1983.

After he retired, Ricardo coached goalkeepers River, and later assistant Enrique Meza with Deportivo Toluca,
