Raymond Claude “Ray” Moreton was born on January 30, 1942, and died on July 20, 2016.

He was a New Zealand rugby union player.

And as a second five-eighth and centre, Moreton represented Southland and Canterbury at a provincial level.

Ray was a member of the New Zealand national side, the All Blacks, from 1962 to 1965, playing in 12 matches including seven internationals.

He scored seven tries and one drop goal in all.

Ray Moreton passed away at 74 years old.
