Raymond Henry “Ray” Bell was born on December 31, 1925, and died on July 19, 2016.

He was a New Zealand rugby union player.

Bell played as a wing and fullback.

He played for Otago at a provincial level.

The rugby player was a member of the New Zealand national side, the All Blacks, from 1951 to 1952.

Ray Bell played nine matches for the All Blacks including three internationals.

Then, later on served as an Otago selector from 1968 to 1971.

He took part with J Force, the New Zealand occupying force in Japan, from 1946 to 1948.

Bell died in Dunedin.

Ray Bell passed away at 90 years old.
