Ravi Kanojia was born in 1982 in Ludhiana and died on May 9, 2016.

He an Indian photographer and photojournalist.

Ravi worked with The Indian Express as a principal photographer in New Delhi.

He began his career with The Indian Express Newspaper in 2002 from Ludhiana.

Then, in 2009 Ravi was transferred to Delhi.

The photojournalist was honoured for creative excellence by the Press Council of India in 2014 for his coverage of displaced in the Muzaffarnagar riots.

Ravi Kanojia was electrocuted on railway tracks while on an assignment to cover a water train in the drought-hit region in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh.

Ravi Kanojia passed away at 34 yrs old.
