Ragnhild Barland was born on September 29, 1934 in Holla, and died on November 27, 2015.
She was a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party.
Ragnhild was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Telemark in 1985, and was re-elected on two occasions.
Ragnhild Barland was involved in local politics in Skien municipality council from 1975 to 1985, serving as deputy mayor in 1983 to 1985.
Outside of politics, she has worked as a high school teacher since 1957.
In 1975, Ragnhild was promoted to school inspector.
She was involved in the teachers’ union Norsk lektorlag, and was board chairman of the sports club Gjerpen IF from 1972 to 1975.
Ragnhild Barland passed away at age 81 in November 2015.
