Prie GS was born on February 3, 1964, in Kendal Regency, Central Java, and died on February 12, 2021, due to a heart attack.

He was an Indonesian journalist (Suara Merdeka) and writer.

He started his career as a journalist at the Suara Merdeka Daily, Semarang.

During his life, Prie loved art and was often involved in the art world, even in his final days.

Prie started to experience some illness and was being treated at the Columbia Asia Hospital in Semarang. He has been receiving treatment since Wednesday, February 10, 2021.

While undergoing treatment, Prie was still able to communicate. Feeling that his condition was improving, he had asked to go home.

He then had a heart attack and passed away at the age of 56 on Friday.
