Philip (“Phil”) Edwards was born on September 3, 1949, and died on April 23, 2017.

He was a British road racing cyclist.

He took part at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, West Germany, where he finished sixth in the road race, just behind teammate Phil Bayton, he played for the United Kingdom.

He was a professional cyclist from 1976 to 1980.

Apparently, he died of a suspected heart attack at his home in Monaco.

Phil Edwards passed away at 67 years old.
