Air Vice-Marshal Peter Anthony Latham was born on June 18, 1925, and died on December 4, 2016

He was a senior British Royal Air Force officer.

From 1977 to 1981, Peter served as Air Officer Commanding No. 11 Group.

Earlier in his career, from 1958 to 1960, Latham was a leader of the Black Arrows (predecessor of the current RAF aerobatic team, the Red Arrows).

During 1999, Peter Latham was made an Honorary President of the Royal International Air Tattoo.

During the 1954 New Year Honours, he was awarded the Queen’s Commendation for Valuable Service.

Peter Latham passed away at 91 years old.
