Peter Stuart Isaacson was born on July 31, 1920, and died on April 7, 2017.

He was an Australian publisher and decorated military pilot.

Isaacson was the owner of Peter Isaacson Publications, publisher of various trade journals and suburban newspapers including the Southern Cross and the Sunday Observer in Melbourne.

Peter served in the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) World War II as a pilot with RAF Bomber Command and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Air Force Cross and the Distinguished Flying Medal.

Peter and his wife resided in the Melbourne suburb of Toorak.

He died in Melbourne following a short illness and was survived by his sons; Anne had died the year before.

Peter Isaacson passed away at 96 years old.
