Perico Fernandez (Pedro Fernández Castillejos) was born on October 19, 1952, and died on November 11, 2016.

He was a professional boxer from Zaragoza, Spain.

Perico Fernandez was a WBC light welterweight champion.

He turned pro in 1972 and captured the vacant WBC light welterweight title in 1974 with a split decision win over Lion Furuyama.

Perico Fernandez lost the belt the following year to Saensak Muangsurin by TKO, with Muangsurin setting a World record by becoming world champion in only his 3rd fight.

Together, they fought a rematch in 1977 with Muangsurin winning a decision.

He retired in 1987.

Perico Fernandez passed 64 years old.
