Per Brunvand was born on May 11, 1937, and died on October 28, 2015.

Brunvand was born in Kristiansand as the son of Olav Brunvand.

He worked as a journalist since 1957, in Arbeidernes Pressekontor, Fremtiden and Arbeiderbladet.

From 1970 to 1975 Brunvand was the editor-in-chief of Rogalands Avis, and from 1975 to 1991 he held the same position in Arbeiderbladet. 1970-1975.

In 1992 Brunvandwas hired as a press counsellor at the Norwegian embassy in Finland.

Brunvand passed away at age 78 in October 2015.
