Paul Lange was born on February 6, 1931, and died on March 15, 2016.

He was a West German-German sprint canoer.

He competed in the late 1950s and early 1960s.

Paul was the winner a gold medal in the K-1 4 × 500 m event at the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome (with Dieter Krause, Günther Perleberg and Friedhelm Wentzke).

Paul was the winner of two medals at the 1958 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships in Prague with a gold in the K-1 4 × 500 m and a bronze in the K-2 500 m events.

Paul Lange passed away at 85 yrs old.
