Paul Herrmann, German politician, Died at 101

Paul Herrmann was born on December 16, 1913, in Ludwigshafen, Rhein and died October 19, 2015.

He studied economics and social sciences at the University of Heidelberg.

Herrmann graduated with a degree in economics.

In 1938, he worked investigations on the agricultural structural funds.

Paul Herrmann grew up in his hometown as a child of the railway official Georg Herrmann and Katharina, and was born Kuhn, in a Catholic family on.

Paul was a research assistant at the Institute of Social and Political Sciences of the University of Heidelberg.

He then worked for the Reich Ministry of Food and Agriculture in Berlin.

In World War II, he was an infantry officer on the front lines in Poland, France, Yugoslavia, several times in the Soviet Union and the Western Wall.

He was mayor of Mühlacker and county councils in the district, Vaihingen in 1947.

Herrmann has contributed to many other projects, including establishing a Volksbildungswerk (later Volkshochschule), a music school and a circular loop library with all official librarian, a first in North Baden. 1972 ended his term.

He was a member of the CDU Baden-Württemberg Parliament, from 1972 to 1976.

In the 70’s, Herrmann was Chairman of the Stuttgart Hospital Association and the board of the German Hospital Association, is also involved as a Red Cross district chairman.

He was married since 1942 with Inge Herrmann; from the marriage were born four children.

He served his wife and children.
