Paul Futcher was born on September 25, 1956, and died on November 24, 2016.

He was an English professional footballer

Paul had a distinguished career as a defender in the English football league and for England under 21s.

He worked as manager of several non-league clubs.

He was also the father of fellow footballer Ben Futcher.

His twin brother Ron played in the Football League as well as being a top scorer in the North American Soccer League; and their older brother Graham also played professionally at Chester City.

His son Ben has extensive Football League experience and he is the cousin of Danny Murphy.

Before his death, he was coaching both male and female academy sides at Huddersfield New College who has started the careers of players such as Zoe Barrett and Birmingham City striker Cameron Jerome.

His death was announced that he had an unspecified illness.

Paul Futcher passed away at 60 years old.
