Patrick (Paddy) Connolly was born in 1927, died on January 7, 2016.

He was a former Attorney General of Ireland.

Patrick Connolly was appointed by Charles Haughey.

He resigned after Malcolm McArthur, who had been a houseguest of Connolly’s, was arrested for murder.

Later, he had returned to practice at the Irish bar and to work as a Senior Counsel in Dublin.

He was a life-long bachelor.

Patrick Connolly passed away in his 80’s.
