Patricia Farrar, American educator, Died at 84

Patricia Farrar or Patricia Henley was born on August 13, 1931, in Claremont and died November 3, 2015 in Aberdeen.

She was an American educator and the South Dakota First Lady from 1969 to 1971.

Patricia graduated with honours from the University of South Dakota, where she met Frank Farrar.

The couple was married in on June 5, 1953, in Fort Benning, Georgia, where Farrar was stationed in the U.S. Army.

Patricia was the wife of former Gov. Frank Farrar.

She will still be remembered for her graciousness during her time as our First Lady,” said Gov. Daugaard.

Patricia Farrar passed away at 84 of Parkinson’s disease and Lewy body dementia.
