Pande Radja Silalahi died on October 2, 2015.

Silalahi was a senior economist.

He has been with the Centre since 1973.

Pande Radja Silalahi was the current Member of the Board of Supervisors of CSIS Foundation.

Among his research, Pande lectures in various universities, and is Involved in the research division of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

From 2001, he served in the Commission for the Supervision of Business Competition (KPPU).

He was an overachiever that graduated from the Department of Economics from Parahiyangan University in 1973.

Pande then continued his graduate studies in Japan, first time in Hiroshima and then, Kobe.

He received his PhD in Public Finance from the Kobe University of Commerce in 1980.

Pande passed away at age 66 in October 2015.
