Oribe Canales Cuban-born American hairstylist born in 1956, in Jaruco, Cuba and died on December 17, 2018.

Professionally known as Oribe, in 1962, emigrated to the United States with his family and settled in Charlotte, North Carolina.

1976, Oribe moved to New York City.

It was while working at the Garren at the Plaza salon that Oribe got his first article credit, from the magazine GQ.

At the same time, Oribe began working with picture taker Steven Meisel and cosmetics craftsman François Nars.

Then in 1987, Oribe operated his first salon in New York City’s Upper West Side.

During 1990, Oribe opened a salon on the tenth floor of the Elizabeth Arden salon, on Fifth Avenue in New York City, in the wake of having been acquainted with the makeup organization by the model Vendela.

He was the stylist to models’ hair for designers such as Versace, Thierry Mugler, Calvin Klein, and Chanel.

Oribe is additionally known for makeover look to supermodels, for example, Linda Evangelista and Cindy Crawford.

Oribe Canales passed away at 62 years old.
