Norma Leah McCorvey was born (née Nelson) on September 22, 1947, and died on February 18, 2017.

She better known by the legal pseudonym “Jane Roe”.

She was the plaintiff in the landmark American lawsuit Roe v. Wade in 1973.

The Ruling of The U.S. Supreme Court was that individual state laws banning abortion are unconstitutional.

Then she views on abortion changed substantially; she became a Roman Catholic activist in the pro-life movement.

Norma McCorvey passed away at 69 years old.
