Norm Hadley, Canadian rugby union player, Died at 51


Norman “Norm” Hadley was born on December 2, 1964, and died on March 26, 2016.

He was a Canadian professional rugby union player.

As he was called “Stormin’ Norman”, a massive 6 foot 7″, 21-stone (150-kg) lock.

Norm played professionally first for London Wasps and then Bedford Blues in the 1990s.

Whilst he was in Canada, he played for James Bay and UBCOB Ravens (British Columbia Rugby Union).

Hadley earned an M.B.A. degree from UBC in 1991. Previously he played for Western Suburbs in Wellington, New Zealand.

Norm Hadley played for quarter-finalist Canada in the 1991 Rugby World Cup.

In all, he earned 15 caps for Canada between 1987 and 1994.

Norm Hadley passed away at 51 yrs old.
