Norbert Gastell, actor and voice actor, Died at 86


Norbert Gastell was born on October 14, 1929, and died on November 26, 2015.

He was an Argentinian-born, German voice actor, who specialized in dubbing.

Norbert was born to German parents, but grew up in Argentina.

He later moved to Munich in 1938.

Norbert was best known in Germany as the “voice” of Homer Simpson, in the German version of The Simpsons which he has provided since the series was first aired in 1991.

He is also remembered for his dubbing as the character Trevor Ochmonek in the sitcom ALF, Coach Pantusso in Cheers and Cornelius Fudge in the Harry Potter (film series).

Norbert was also active in radio plays.

Norbert Gastell passed away in Munich at the age of 86.
