Myles McKeon was born on April 3, 1919, in Drummin, Ireland and died on May 2, 2016.

He was an Irish-born Australian bishop who was the Roman Catholic Bishop of Bunbury.

He recived his educated at St Jarlath’s College, Tuam, attended University College Dublin and studied for the priesthood All Hallows College Dublin.

He was ordained priest for the diocese of Perth, Western Australia, on June 22, 1947 by Bishop Henry Vincent Marshall of Salford.

Myles was appointed an Auxiliary Bishop of Perth as well as Titular Bishop of Antipyrgos, on May 23, 1962.

McKeon was consecrated as a bishop by Bishop Lancelot Goody.

During March 1969, Myles was appointed Bishop of Bunbury.

At age 62, he resigned as Bishop of Bunbury, on February 18, 1982.

Myles McKeon passed away at 97 yrs old.
